Katherine Eleanor
Katherine Eleanor is a Hertfordshire based cottage industry run by Katie who is a dressmaker. She has expanded her repertoire into apron making for violin makers, and in the last year, has supplied Florian Leonhard Fine Violins, Ben de Wulf and Gábor Draskóczy with high quality bespoke workshop aprons, including embroidered logos using a local embroidering company.
Katie works on her craft alongside her full-time job in the classical music industry and having completed several courses and work experiences in the field of dressmaking and also historical costume, she has gained invaluable insight for her commissioned work.

The British Violin Making Association (BVMA) was founded in 1995 to promote fellowship between those who have an interest in the history and the craft of violin and bow making. We welcome professional and amateur violin makers and restorers alike, as well as all those who share an interest in the subject and the craft. Although we are the British Violin Making Association, we welcome members from around the world.
